JOB DETAILS             
The candidate will be a part of R&D and QC department in a coating/resin manufacturing division. He/she will be responsible for preparing lab batches of paint formulations, colour matching, operating dispersion equipment (i.e. high-speed mixers), performing QC tests of batch samples and properties of production batches. He/she will be expected to follow established work procedures, maintain equipment and adhere to safe work practices.

Key responsibilities:
•Colour matching using Data colour equipment and software
•Maintain and update database
•Test spraying of small batches
•Prepare small scale batches
•Testing of lab and production batches
•Maintain records

Experience and education:
• Chemistry or Coating specialist
• A-level or equivalent preferably with Chemistry as one of the subject
• 2-3 years of experience in coating or ink industry
• Experience in colour matching will be preferred
• Safe work habits
• Ability to follow and produce a paint formulation
• Functions independently
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize, organize and execute work
• Good verbal and written communication skills
