JOB DETAILS             
Ensure all projects are implemented within pre-defined parameters of implementation quality, duration and budget.
Assist in developing the project lifecycle methodology and associated policies and procedures.
Critically review concept notes and proposals from partner organisations and vet according to key requirements such as implementation quality, value for money, impact etc.
Work closely with Partners and field offices to identify ways to improve project quality, new opportunities and be the first point of contact for any issues.
Spearheading project portfolio within the education sector, ensuring quality programming for educational based initiatives e.g. school construction, education in emergencies (disaster risk management), psycho-social support, teacher training etc.
Effective communication between field offices/partners and the HQ to ensure up to date information is available on the status of projects.
Work with orphan sponsorship team, to provide inputs from a child welfare and safeguarding perspective. Some follow up will be required for reporting from field offices and partners.
Assist in the oversight of field offices and recruitment of staff in those areas.
