JOB DETAILS             
We are currently seeking a process controller. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of Coppermills Advanced Water Treatment Works water production works to ensure wholesome water is available 24 hours a day for our customers.

What you will be doing?
As the process controller you will:
•receive training to undertake a variety of roles within the team under our Licence to Operate program.
•monitor and control range of water treatment processes via SCADA, working as a team to ensure the water production plant's operation 24/7, 365 days a year, while also working alongside and assisting the maintenance team, management team and other operational roles to ensure site-wide key performance indicators are met.
•carry out sampling and related analysis to ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
•be responsible for the front-line maintenance and process fault-finding while reporting any defective equipment, ensuring a swift resolution following any breakdowns, monitoring, collating, and reporting data to ensure statutory and regulatory compliance is met and the works meet regulatory quality standards and customer demand.
•be responsible for responding to emergencies, whether this be process failures or other events. In such circumstances, you will remain calm and follow established procedures to escalate, and then stabilise the process or identify and isolate the issue at hand.
•comply with operational standards, completing associated documentation including shift logbooks.

What we’re looking for:
•We are looking for someone who has process experience in relevant industry, hold leadership tendencies, is hands-on and practical with impeccable attention to detail and troubleshooting skills
•Completion of NVQ level 2 units or equivalent, a technical City and Guilds or HNC qualification is also desirable.
•Have basic literacy, numeracy, and computer skills, as you will need to use email and operate the plant computers / SCADA equipment.
•Be computer literate, specifically with Microsoft Office applications.
•Previous experience of SCADA systems would be advantageous.
•Possess a valid driving licence
