JOB DETAILS             
Sitting within our fast-paced sales department, we are looking for a target driven and highly motivated Insurance Broker to focus on understanding a customer’s commercial insurance needs, and building and maintaining relationships.

What does the role entail?
•Keeping the customer at the centre of our processes and interactions by building and maintaining strong relationships
•Understand the insurance needs of customers and putting into effect the right level of protection to meet those needs
•Work within regulatory requirements including Data Protection and FCA guidance as well as governance and control framework
•Converting new customers from lead to quote to policy within conversion metrics
•Converting renewals within retention metrics for existing customers
•Identifying areas of risk where customers may need additional products or assistance
•Completing mid-term policy adjustments for customers and referring those out-side of own
•Resolving allocated queries and complaints, and completing more detailed reviews and investigations within agreed service level
•Updating queries/complaints with high-quality, concise notes
•Processing cancellations of insurance policies and settling refunds of return premiums
•Working towards customer-centric targets
•Identifying ways to improve customer experience
•Taking ownership of diary management, scheduling and attending meetings as well as keeping detailed and accurate system records

Requirements
•Minimum of 2 years Commercial Insurance Broking experience (ideally with the same broker)
•Must have good knowledge of Commercial Combined Insurance working as an Insurance Broker
•Ideally have experience of other Commercial Package products as well as Commercial Combined Insurance
•Experience of dealing with all sizes of commercial clients
•Proven record of building and maintaining relationships with Insurers with the ability to negotiate policy terms and costs
•Proven sales ability in winning new business deals of all sizes with demonstrable conversion rates
•Exceptional written and telephone skills
