JOB DETAILS             
The overall responsibility within this role is to assist the anaesthetist in the administration of anaesthetic during surgery.
In your role as an anaesthetic nurse you will report into the Senior team and be responsible for planning and delivering appropriate care.
Part of your day to day as an Anaesthetic Nurse will involve preparing the anaesthetic room according to the individual needs of the patient and Anaesthetist, ensuring all equipment is checked prior to use and any faults reported to the Theatre Co-ordinator immediately, and preparing patients and providing assistance for clinical/operative procedures.
You will be responsible for updating and maintaining patient records and responding to any queries and complaints.
You will also be involved in the induction of new members of staff and any other ad hoc duties assigned to you.

Registered RGN with NMC pin number and a post grad qualification in anaesthetics
ODP with HCPC registration
Experience working in a Theatre setting across multiple specialties
Keep up to date with current practices and procedure guidelines
Considering the nature of the role excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required
