Key Responsibilities

  • Supplier selection, including managing relationships, monitoring the performance of all suppliers and carrying out periodic audits together with the Ultrahaptics Quality Manager.
  • Work with the Sales & Marketing team to provide accurate forecasts for product builds and provide corresponding forecasts and orders to suppliers.
  • Maintain appropriate stock levels of components and final products with a range of stakeholders including suppliers, distributors, internal Ultrahaptics stores and end users (Customers and Ultrahaptics staff).
  • Work closely with Ultrahaptics Purchasing Team to ensure competitive pricing, quality and delivery, appropriate contracts and VPAs.
  • Use and actively engage in the continuous improvement of tools and systems used in all aspects of operations.

Requirements
  • Experience with the planning and manufacturing of low and high-volume products. Products could be component level through to complete end products / box builds.
  • Awareness of outgoing quality and compliance with standards such as ISO, 9001-2015, TS16949, CE etc.
  • Experience working with Quality Managers in internal and external quality audits and continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of box design, component selection, PCB builds and outgoing test, product packaging and shipping.
  • Ability to plan workload and exercise good time management, juggling priorities across more than one project and dealing with tight deadlines on a regular basis.
