Responsibilities 

  • Developing and supporting teams in complex bids 
  • Preparation and presenting estimating and financial data at Gates, Estimate Kick-Off & Reviews 
  • Modelling of estimated costs, overheads, funding, cash flow, margin, profitability, ROI. 
  • Preparation and review of financial content of the Company Price & Cash Sheet and Financial Memo 
  • Undertaking peer reviews/audits of estimates for major bids or projects as required 

Skills and experience 
  • Business acumen demonstrated by a strong commercial and financial awareness 
  • Proven experience and understanding of - Industry estimating techniques, methodologies and processes, Estimating Management, Finance and Performance Metrics 
  • Risk and opportunity analysis, modelling and management 
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel 
  • Effective communicator, able to articulate ideas and deliver information in a clear and persuasive manner 
  • Excellent organisation skills, delivering to agreed timescales with attention to detail 
  • Must be a car driver with a current licence
