Responsibilities

  • Motivate and inspire the gym members to achieve their targets and goals, by creating tailored engaging and unique sessions. 
  • Instruct gym members in the effective use of a variety of state-of-the-art cardio, fitness and lifting equipment and ensure members continue to develop their safe usage and confidence with equipment. 
  • Monitor operation of the facility and provide routine maintenance to fitness equipment. 
  • Plan and deliver multiple group studio/gym floor classes that will be held throughout each day. 
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the gym is maintained to the highest standard and compliant with health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Level 3 REPS or BSc level sports science focused degree. 
  • A specialism in a form of coaching i.e. British Weightlifting L1+ or CrossFit Level 1+ 
  • Ability to work flexible hours. 
  • Passion for fitness with results driven attitude and a varied experience of training modalities. 
  • Excellent one to one and group communication skills. 
  • Must be able to work with a range of people and abilities confidently. 
  • A highly motivated, engaging personality. 
  • Enthusiastic approach to all challenges with a desire to develop your skill set and knowledge base.
