Responsibilities 

  • Rigging Demo Reel
  • Creating control rigs for a wide variety of characters, creatures, and vehicles.
  • In-depth knowledge, and technically proficient, in using Autodesk Maya is a must.
  • Experienced in writing scripts, preferably with Python, to automate processes and support the animation pipeline.
  • Able to liaise with the Lead Character Rigger, other technical support staff, and animators in trouble shooting and development.
  • Show a sound understanding of animation principles and processes.

  • A good communicator and at ease with working in a team.
  • Capable of working to tight deadlines.
  • Degree, related qualification or equivalent experience in Animation
Requirements
  • Good knowledge of anatomy and a thorough understanding of biomechanics, kinesiology for humanoid and animals.
  • Thorough understanding of weighting, skinning and be able to work interactively with modelers to resolve challenges.
  • Good communication skill and ability to work interactively with the rest of the team.
  • Ability to rig characters/objects in a realistic or cartoon manner.
  • Good MEL scripting, Python scripting skills.
  • Experience with Marvelous Designer, cloth, muscles and dynamics are a plus.
  • Maya API, C++ skills are a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Rigger 
  • Strong production experience on game cinematics, VFX and realistic character is preferable
